    Academy Mission

The Entrepreneur and Leadership Military Academy at Boyd H. Anderson High School is a distinguished college preparatory magnet program with a structured and balanced focus on academics, work ethic & character.

    Academy Vision

Our vision is equity in education, character development and leadership.  We leverage technology, innovative teaching practices and community service opportunities to develop our students into well-rounded world citizens that are intellectually, emotionally and financially prepared for post-secondary life and beyond.

  • Challenging Curriculum
All academic core subject classes are Honors, International Baccalaureate (IB) and college courses.  Students can also opt to take Advanced Placement (AP) courses in lieu of IB courses.

Entry into ELMA secures a seat into courses that break away from traditional high school such as Aerospace Technology, Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Public Speaking, Introduction to Business, Forensic Science, Aeronautical Science and Pilot Operations

    Dual Enrollment
Our on-campus, dual enrollment program is an accelerated program that allows eligible students to earn post-secondary credit while simultaneously completing high school graduation requirements.  Students can graduate high school with up to 39 college semester hours and automatic acceptance into Broward College or Florida International University having never paid an application, tuition or laboratory fee.

    Aeronautics
Qualified students that choose ELMA’s Aeronautics Track will take four courses from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU).  Upon successful completion of those courses, ERAU will cover the cost of their private pilot exam.
