  • FALL 2021 FSA Retake Testing

     

    ALL High School students must meet the Reading and Math Assessment requirements for graduation through the FSA assessments or obtain a concordant score. JPT is offering the FSA Algebra EOC Retake test on Sept. 23rd & 24th and the FSA ELA Retake test on Sept 28th, 29th & 30th. The Algebra EOC Retake test consists of 2 test sessions and the ELA Retake test consists of 3 test sessions. Student must attend all sessions of the test(s) in order to receive a score.

     

    Students Scheduled to Test in September:

    • Algebra EOC Retake is scheduled for all 11th and 12th grade students who have NOT met the Math Assessment requirement and NOT currently enrolled in the Algebra 1 or Geometry EOC course
    • ELA Retake is scheduled for all 11th and 12th grade student who have NOT met the Reading Assessment requirement

     

    Some Important Test Day Info:

    • Algebra EOC Retake is scheduled for Thurs Sept 23rd & Fri Sept 24th. Students scheduled must test on both days.
    • ELA Retake is scheduled for Tues Sept 28th, Wed Sept 29th & Thurs Sept 30th. Students scheduled must test on all three days.
    • Upon arrival on test days, students will be directed to their assigned testing room
    • Students must wear a face mask while on campus, which includes the entire test time
    • Students must bring the following materials:
      • Two (2) pencils
      • Approved scientific calculator for Algebra EOC session 2 (9/24)
      • Wired headphones for FSA ELA Retakes (9/28 – 9/30)

    PSAT/NMSQT

     

    The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is the screening test for high school students who wish to participate in the National Merit Scholarship Program. Students still needing the Math Assessment Requirement for graduation may also use a concordant score from the math section to meet this requirement. The PSAT will be administered at JPT on October 13th.

     

    Students Scheduled to take the PSAT on October 13th:

    • 9th & 10th Grades
      • ALL 9th & 10th Grade students are scheduled to take the PSAT
      • There is no cost for JPT 9th and 10th grade students
    • 11th & 12th grades
      • 11th & 12th grade students may register to take the PSAT
      • The cost is $19 and can be paid through the Online School Payments or see Ms. Treshell Williams in Guidance for cash payments

    Some Important Test Reminders:

    • Students must come to school on time
    • Upon arrival on Oct 13th, students will be directed to their assigned testing room
    • Students must wear a face mask while on campus, which includes the entire test time
    • Students must bring the following materials:
      • Two number#2 pencils (NO mechanical pencils)
      • College Board approved Calculator
