Our school is proud to provide a safe and secure learning environment - an environment that fosters intellectual development, creativity, and friendships. These policies and guidelines enable us to create, sustain, and grow this wonderful community at Westwood Heights Elementary. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our School Policies.
ARRIVE ON TIME
Any student who arrives to class after the bell rings at 8:00 a.m. is TARDY. They then must enter the school through the main office and get a late pass before going to class. No student who is tardy will be permitted to enter the class without a late pass. There are NO excused tardies. Excessive tardies will be reported to our BTIP Coordinator. Reassigned students are at risk of losing their reassignment due to attendance/tardies.
All gates and entrances to the campus will be locked at 8:00 a.m. Students arriving after the 8:00 bell rings will be required to enter the campus through the front office. Employees are not permitted to open gates or doors after the bell has rung.
