    A book club is a group of people who meet to discuss a book or books that they have read and express their opinions, likes, dislikes, etc. It is more often called simply a book club, a term that is also used to describe a book sales club, which can cause confusion.

  • DIVA's United

    Club Sponsor: Ms. Logan

    Meeting Day: Tuesdays and Thursdays

    Location: Room 1904

    Time: 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

    We will provide age appropriate activities that develops social skills and decision making.  The program will lead sessions encourage by Ms. Logan and guest speakers with various "Diva Talks at the Table."  Here we will give life exercises utilized with open dialogues and Each One Reach One chats.  Upon completing of the program each Diva will received a certificate of completion with acknowledgement for scholastic brilliance and self-awareness.

    FEA provides students with the opportunity to volunteer throught the school, help fellow peers, bring smiles, to our FGMS to teachers' faces, and learn important skills such as responsibility and leadership.

    M.E.N.D. Families Club is a program for students in 6th - 8th grade that focuses on mending, engaging, norishing dedicated families.  Our goals is to enhance empathy through SEL activities, develop skills for healing, and strengthen the sense of community throguhout the school.

    Meeting day: 2 Sessions of 8 weeks

    Yes!! Children can experience the benefits of mindfulness, medication, deep breathing and emotional connection.

    It has been proven that mindfulness can reduce stress, increase the ability to regulate emotions and improve focus.

  • Multi-Cultural Club

    The Multicultural club honors and promotes awareness of cultural diversity to bring people together through friendships while gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation of each other's cultures.

  • Student Government Association

    Sponsor: Vanessa Cannon

    Student Governement Association (SGA) informational meeting will be held on Thursday, September 9th from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm.  This meeting will provide ifnormation about SGA, how to join, and office position available.

    SGA Elections will take place on September 20th - September 22nd. 

    Available Positions:

    President, Vice-President, Secretary, Historian, Treasurer and grade level Senators.

    SGA meeting will be held on the bi-monthly basis on Thursdays to plan events/project for the year. All meeting will be held in room 1939.
