Student Recognition

  • Ramblewood Middle School has incorporated the 8 Core Character Traits from the District to ensure every member of our learning community has a safe and nurturing environment in which to give and to receive all the tools and information necessary to learn how to become all each is meant to be…academically, intellectually, physically, artistically, emotionally and socially.

    To assist in this process, we focus on a specific "trait of the month." Each month, students are selected by teachers based on who demonstrates these traits as it corresponds to the month.

    COOPERATION - SEPTEMBER
    Cooperation is working with others to accomplish a common purpose.

    RESPONSIBILITY - OCTOBER
    Responsibility is meeting obligations by being reliable, accountable, and dependable to self and others.

    CITIZENSHIP - NOVEMBER
    Citizenship is knowing, understanding, and displaying a high regard for rules, laws, government, heritage and for those who have served and sacrificed for community and country.

    KINDNESS - DECEMBER
    Kindness is being helpful, thoughtful, caring, compassionate, and considerate.

    RESPECT - JANUARY
    Respect is showing consideration, understanding, and regard for people, places, and things

    SELF-CONTROL - MARCH
    Self-Control is having discipline over one's behavior and actions.

    TOLERANCE - APRIL
    Tolerance is recognizing and respecting differences, values, and beliefs of other people.
