ESLS Family CounselorHi Pine Ridge Parents! My name is Alexandra Alfaro and I work with our ESE students who have counseling listed on their IEP. I received my License in Marriage and Family Therapy in January 2018, and started working with Pine Ridge in Fall of 2018. I graduated from Florida State University (Go Noles!) and later attended Nova Southeastern University to attain my Master's Degree. I am now a PhD Candidate working on my dissertation, which I hope will eventually lead to positive systemic change for Broward County Public Schools. I am excited and eager to join you and your families on your journeys toward change, as we explore possible solutions that are a fit with your family's needs. I believe in working with my families as a team--as we know, it takes a village!
