As both a college and a high school setting, CA requires students to meet the attendance expectations of Broward County Public Schools for high school and college classes. Each college professor sets his or her own syllabus with attendance expectations; however, as a student at the College Academy, you must attend classes on the days specified on the Broward College calendar, whether or not the Broward County Public Schools indicates a scheduled school day.
A model student is expected to:
- Be present at school each and every day
- Attend class as scheduled
- Arrive at school and class(es) on time
- Demonstrate appropriate behavior and a readiness to learn
