Exceptional Student Education (ESE) and Support Services Division staff provides professional learning opportunities and instructional programming to facilitate high quality instruction for students with disabilities. Supplemental services are provided in collaboration with discretionary projects such as Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System/Florida Inclusion Network and the Multiagency Network for Students with Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities (SEDNET). CHILD FIND provides:
- Free assessment in the areas of speech, language, motor, development, vision, hearing and learning.
- Information about other programs available in the community for preschool children with special needs.
- Professional consultation for parents.
- Books, video and learning kits for loan to parents of children with special needs through the Florida Diagnostic & Learning Resources System (FDLRS) Media Center 754-321-3428.
