Throughout the school year, Tequesta Trace Middle School offers different sports where athletes compete against athletes of other schools in Broward County. We have had a great deal of success, recently celebrating our 23rd County Championship.
To be eligible for participation on a school team, students must have a 2.0 grade point average and no unsatisfactory in conduct during the previous marking period. If they do not meet these requirements, they are not allowed to try out for a team.
Before attending any tryout for any sport or activity, you must register your child and provide documentation. Please visit Register My Athlete.
Once you get to site, create an account and provide information that is requested. You will need to upload the following documents (forms can be printed from website)
- Proof of current physical--must not be earlier than July 1 of this year
- Notarized form, allowing your child to participate
- Copy of Insurance Card
Once you upload all required information, I will approve documents if submitted correctly. If you do not submit correctly, you will receive an e-mail from me stating so.
ONCE A CHILD HAS BEEN SELECTED FOR A TEAM, THEY ARE EXPECTED TO DEMONSTRATE EXCELLENT BEHAVIOR AT SCHOOL AND ON THE PLAYING FIELD/COURT. IF ANY ATHLETE GETS SUSPENDED FROM SCHOOL ONCE THEY ARE A MEMBER OF A TTMS TEAM, THEY WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE TEAM. IN ADDITION, GRADES WILL BE CHECKED WEEKLY AND STUDENTS NOT PERFORMING IN THE CLASSROOM WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN GAMES UNTIL THEIR ACADEMICS ARE IN ORDER.
Visit my website Coach Schrager to get information on tryouts, game schedules, and directions to away games.
