    The Center For Disease Control (CDC) has developed an “Interim Guidance For Grades K-12 District and School Administrators” with actions for planning, addressing school related activities and prevention measures that schools can take to reduce exposure to Coronavirus, with information here for parents and staff.

  • eLEARNING SCHOOL OPENING PROGRESS

    The 2020/2021 school year will focus on adaptability, agility and flexibility. At Broward County Public Schools, the safety and security of our students, teachers and staff is our highest priority.

    • Reporting Child Abuse

    Section 1006.061(1), Florida Statutes requires each district school, charter school and private school that accepts scholarship students under section 220.187 or section 1002.39 to post in a prominent place a notice that pursuant to chapter 39 all employees and agents of the district school board, charter school or private school have an affirmative duty to report all actual or suspected cases of child abuse, abandonment, or neglect.

    • Reporting Administrator Misconduct

    All employees and agents of a public school district, charter school or private school have an obligation and legal responsibility to report misconduct by instructional personnel and school administrators which affects the health, safety or welfare of a student.

  • SCHOOL FINANCIAL REPORT

    •In accordance with Section 1010.215 of the Florida Statutes requires school districts to report to parents and to the public certain financial information in the form of a yearly school financial report. This data is compared to the rest of the schools in the district and the state.
