Student Enrichment Through the Arts (SEAS)

About SEAS

For 34 Years, SEAS Has Brought Learning to Life Through the Arts

Since 1991, the award-winning Student Enrichment Through the Arts (SEAS) program created in partnership with the School Board of Broward County and launched alongside the opening of the Broward Center has inspired over 4 million students through unforgettable arts experiences.

SEAS opens the doors of the theater to every Broward County Public School student, offering the chance to attend professional performances free of charge during the school day. These shows aren’t just entertaining—they’re designed to align with classroom curriculum, turning the arts into a dynamic, engaging learning tool. Whether it’s theater, music, dance, or storytelling, each performance fuels creativity, critical thinking, and classroom connection.

Held in the Amaturo Theater, which serves as an extension of the classroom, SEAS transforms the performing arts into a vibrant educational experience.

Nationally recognized as a leading model for arts integration, SEAS is the largest program of its kind in the country, and continues to set the standard for excellence in arts-based education.
