The award-winning Student Enrichment Through the Arts (SEAS) Program has been inspiring students for 34 years. Developed in partnership with the School Board of Broward County, SEAS began in 1991 alongside the opening of the Broward Center. Since then, it has provided more than 4 million students with meaningful, curriculum-connected arts experiences.
SEAS gives all Broward County Public School students the opportunity to attend professional performances free of charge during the school day—transforming the arts into a powerful learning tool. From theater and music to dance and storytelling, each performance ties directly into classroom content and encourages students to learn through creativity and expression.
Performances take place in the Amaturo Theater, which functions as an official extension of the classroom and a valued educational space.
Recognized nationally as a model for arts integration in education, SEAS is the largest program of its kind in the country—and continues to set the standard for excellence in arts-based learning.
