  • Above the Influence March

ATI is brought to you annually by Broward County Public Schools in partnership with community agencies. Every student’s life is filled with pressure, some of it good, some of it bad. The goal of ATI is to help students stand up to negative pressures and influences such as drugs and alcohol, bullying, discrimination, or any other destructive behavior or attitude. The annual ATI March helps our students celebrate their choice to live Above the Influence of negative pressures.

Utilize the ATI March Toolkit’s lessons and assembly materials in preparation for the March.
The ATI Toolkit is designed to increase students’ awareness of negative influences and focuses them on the positive influences in their lives. Join us and RISE ABOVE, CHANGE YOUR LIFE, JOIN THE MOVEMENT, CHANGE THE WORLD!

  • ATI Toolkit

Below is the BCPS ATI Toolkit, which can be used anytime to help students learn to live above the influence of negative pressures. We strongly recommend utilizing it with students planning to attend the ATI March, prior to the march. Each grade level has 2 lessons modified from the ATI campaign website’s ATI Activity Guide (also below). Each lesson fits into 1 typical class period.

If your school or class has time, we encourage you to expand the lessons with more activities or lessons from the complete ATI Activities Guide or the ATI National Campaign Toolkit.

BCPS Above the Influence March Toolkit: included in the toolkit (make sure to check out the PDF’s attachments) are both primary and secondary lessons, an assembly power point and script, supporting parent materials and much more!

The videos for the assembly and lessons are available in our department's SharePoint.

  • ATI Student Survey

Students participating in the Above the Influence March are invited to complete the Above the Influence Student Survey.

  • We Need Your Support!

The Above the Influence (ATI) March helps students stand up to negative pressures and influences such as drugs and alcohol, bullying, discrimination, or any other destructive behavior or attitude. Last year’s ATI March included over 5,000 students who marched united in celebration of their decision to live Above the Influence of negative pressures. The event included a battle of the bands, student performances and much more.

We need your help. The cost of transporting, feeding, and providing marketing materials to thousands of students is unfunded. We are asking for sponsorship or vendors to help support this movement with either funds or a case of water for the event.  Join us and RISE ABOVE, CHANGE YOUR LIFE, JOIN THE MOVEMENT, CHANGE THE WORLD!

View and complete the ATI Sponsorship Form.

Become a vendor to support this year's ATI March.
