Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) Students, Teachers, Parents, Former Miami Dolphins Channing Crowder and Sports Personalities
WHAT:
Students and parents from Lake Forest Elementary School will hear about the importance of math and science during an Educating Students and Parents Night (ESPN). Former Miami Dolphins star linebacker Channing Crowder will talk with students about how math and science influenced his athletic career. Other sports personalities will share how these skills are important for setting goals in competitive sports and pursuing careers.

Lake Forest Elementary administrators and teachers created Educating Students and Parents Night to motivate and inspire students. Special guest sports personalities will help students make a real-world connection to the importance of math and science in athletic and other careers.
