  • Student Belongings Pick Up

    Teachers and staff will be on campus May 27-29 to pass out student belongings. Anyone picking up must have a piece of paper with the student's name and teacher to expedite the process. If you have multiple children you must come by at each time for pick up. You are able to send a friend or family member in your place, but they must follow the procedures as well. Student item pick up schedule is as follows: Tuesday 5/26 PreK/InD 9:00-10:30 AM and Kindergarten 11:00-12:30 PM ; Wednesday 5/27 First 9:00-10:30 AM and Second 11:00-12:30 PM ; Thursday 5/28 Third 9:00-10:30 AM and Fourth 11:00-12:30 PM; Friday 5/29 Fifth 9:00-10:30 AM.   • Mindfulness Canvas Resource

    The Mindfulness in BCPS CANVAS site is designed to ensure that our school community has access to high-quality online mindfulness education and support. On-demand mindfulness activities, lessons, and resources are provided along with a daily schedule of live and pre-recorded sessions on mindful breathing, mindful movement and stretching, and mindful ways of being, thinking, and acting. Live sessions will be offered each school day at 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and 2:00 PM. Suggested pre-recorded sessions will be offered at 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM each school day. Utilizing the resources provided on the Mindfulness in BCPS CANVAS site will assist students, families, and staff in coping with stress and building resiliency during the challenges associated with COVID-19.     Silver Ridge Elementary PTO has a new board in place for the 2020/2021 school year! Thank you all for your participation, no vote was needed as we had a spot for each nominee. Your new co Presidents are Judy Hakiel-Calcaterra and Jessica Curto, Vice Presidents Katie Yanks, Michelle Bass and Lani Tole, Treasurers Katie Gilden and Siobahn Williamson, Volunteer Coordinator Melissa Forman, Secretaries Liz Hernandez and Kim Tillman. Congratulations to everyone! As a reminder, our last PTO General Meeting will be Thursday, April 30th, at 6:00pm in the SRE cafeteria, all are welcome to attend!

  • Morning Drop Off and Breakfast Changes

    Starting on the first day of school, if your child will be eating breakfast at school, they will need to be dropped off at the main entrance of Silver Ridge. All students going to the cafeteria for breakfast will enter the cafeteria through the west entrance of the cafeteria. This will be the only way to enter the cafeteria in the morning.
