Hundreds of Students Put Their Robots to the Test During Mission Mayhem

Student teams and their specially designed robots compete during the annual Mission Mayhem Robotics Competition, which is organized by Dillard High School’s Emerging Technologies Magnet Program

WHY:
The Mission Mayhem competition, a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) and FIRST Lego League off-season event, includes robotics teams from schools across BCPS, as well as student teams from across Florida. During the competition, students put their robots to the test as they participate in a specially designed field game. Each robot is designed and built by the student teams to meet specific criteria and perform specific functions. Learn more about the event at missionmayhem.org.
The Mission Mayhem competition is the culminating event of Dillard Tech Week, which includes a variety of events and activities, including drone competitions and guest speakers from local technology companies. The goal is to raise awareness and interest among students about career opportunities in the technology industry.
