Community Invited to BCPS Opening Doors in Broward Job Fair, Friday, October 19, 2018
WHO: Students, District Staff, Community Members and Local Businesses
WHAT: Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) Atlantic Technical College, Arthur Ashe Jr. Campus and the Department of Equity & Academic Attainment, host the2018 Opening Doors in Broward Job Fair.
WHEN: Friday, October 19, 2018, 9 a.m. – noon
WHERE: Atlantic Technical College, Arthur Ashe Jr. Campus

WHY: The Opening Doors in Broward Community job fair is a free event, which aims to connect students and community members (ages 16 and up) with educational and employment opportunities for entry-level, skilled and experienced professional positions. More than 80 local businesses are participating in areas such as automotive, business management, construction, healthcare, hospitality, information technology, manufacturing, office assistants, retail industry and much more.
Free career assessments and career counseling will be available onsite for students and community members.
Job seekers should wear professional attire, bring copies of their resumes and be prepared to interview with prospective employers. Attendees can also learn about career programs available at the District’s three technical colleges – Atlantic Technical College, McFatter Technical College and Sheridan Technical College.
