Broward County Public Schools students, parents, guardians, caregivers and staff,
The District will resume normal operations tomorrow, Friday, September 30, 2022.
We anticipate all school campuses will be open. In the event a campus is not ready to reopen, the principal will alert the school community by 5 p.m. today. Several activities, including athletic events, have been rescheduled and those impacted by these changes will also be notified.
Superintendent Dr. Vickie L. Cartwright thanks District staff for their efforts during the storm, and especially the team on the ground today working to ensure schools are safe for students and staff on Friday. Broward County Public Schools stands ready to assist its sister school districts in southwest Florida that bore the brunt of Hurricane Ian.
