Three BCPS Students Selected as 2022 Cooke College Scholars
Congratulations to Eduardo Pinto of Sheridan Technical High School, Camron Stewart of Nova High School and Kevin Yang-Li of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School for being selected by the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation as 2022 Cooke College Scholars. Each student will receive up to $55,000 annually for up to four years to attend the college or university of his or her choice.
Scholarship recipients were selected from a pool of more than 5,300 applicants from 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands and American Samoa.
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is the largest scholarship provider in the United States, with programs designed to encourage and support the education of exceptionally promising students who have financial needs. In addition to financial assistance, students receive academic support, comprehensive counseling and other support services, and join a thriving network of nearly 3,000 Cooke Scholars.
