Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) is excited to participate in Take a Child to Work Day on Thursday, April 24, 2025. As part of the national observance by Junior Achievement, BCPS is proud to offer students this valuable opportunity to explore a wide variety of careers, develop essential skills and gain real-world insights that will inspire them to envision a bright and confident future.
“We believe that Take a Child to Work Day is an excellent opportunity for students to learn about the importance of education and the many career paths available to them,” said BCPS Superintendent Dr. Howard Hepburn. “We recognize the importance of exposing children to diverse career options and encouraging them to pursue their passions.”

Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) is excited to participate in Take a Child to Work Day on Thursday, April 24, 2025. As part of the national observance by Junior Achievement, BCPS is proud to offer students this valuable opportunity to explore a wide variety of careers, develop essential skills and gain real-world insights that will inspire them to envision a bright and confident future.
Take a Child to Work Day is a Districtwide initiative that allows students to spend the day at the workplace of a parent, guardian, adult relative or family friend to experience the professional world firsthand.
“We believe that Take a Child to Work Day is an excellent opportunity for students to learn about the importance of education and the many career paths available to them,” said BCPS Superintendent Dr. Howard Hepburn. “We recognize the importance of exposing children to diverse career options and encouraging them to pursue their passions.”
