High School Fall Sports Enter Return to Play: Phase 3 Superintendent Robert W. Runcie to Visit with Student Athletes

Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) Superintendent Robert W. Runcie, School Leadership and Student Athletes
WHAT:
Superintendent Runcie will visit Cooper City High School for a first-hand look at practices underway for the following fall sports: football, girls’ volleyball and cross country. These sports, and other fall sports, moved to Phase Three of Return to Play on October 12, allowing official sports practices to begin.
The District’s phased return of high school sports was developed with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, local health experts and the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA), with the primary focus on prioritizing the health and safety of our students, staff and coaches. Strict protocols and guidelines are in effect related to COVID-19.
