Broward County School Board Extends Application Deadline
for Superintendent Search 

The School Board of Broward County, Florida announces it has extended the application deadline for its national search for a permanent superintendent. The deadline for candidates to apply is now Tuesday, May 16, 2023. The School Board is seeking a highly qualified visionary superintendent to lead the District and serve as a student-oriented, transformational leader, who will successfully address concerns and issues communicated by the entire school community and residents throughout the county. 

Interested candidates may apply online at macnjake.com. Questions should be directed to McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C., the independent search firm hired to coordinate the search, by calling 888-375-4814 or emailing apps@macnjake.com. 

Once applications are reviewed and preliminary interviews are conducted by McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C., the top candidates will be presented to the School Board for consideration. Interviewed candidates are chosen solely by the School Board. Applicant names, resumes and submitted applications are subject to Florida’s public records laws.
