Flanagan High School Students Win Annual Miami HEAT Black History Month Challenge
Congratulations to Flanagan High School on winning the annual Miami HEAT Black History Month Challenge. The Miami HEAT Black History Month Challenge is a Jeopardy game show-style competition where a team from each of the schools tested their knowledge of African-American history. Miami HEAT legend Shane Battier participated in the competition and served as captain for the Flanagan High Falcons team, while Miami HEAT legend Alonzo Mourning served as captain for the Miami Northwestern High. Flanagan High scholars came away as the winning school, walking away with a $4,000 grant and a Miami HEAT prize pack.
