Stranahan High School Mighty Marching Dragons to Receive Invitation to Perform in the 2021 London New Year’s Day Parade

Broward County Public Schools is proud to announce that Stranahan High School’s Mighty Marching Dragons marching band is also receiving the prestigious invitation to participate in the 2021 London News Year’s Day Parade & Festival.
This brings the total to two District schools receiving the prestigious invitation: Stranahan High School and Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School (see trailing media advisory regarding Marjory Stoneman Douglas).
After leaving the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School event on Monday, September 16, which begins at 9 a.m., the London New Year’s Day Parade delegation will visit Stranahan High School at 1:30 p.m. to present the invitation. The event will include musical performances by Mighty Marching Dragons and will be attended by Stranahan students, staff, School Board members, District leadership and community members.
