Hundreds of Local Businesses to Graduate from First BCPS Business Excellence Program

WHO:
Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) Economic Development & Diversity Compliance Department (EDDC), District Staff, Business Owners and Entrepreneurs.

WHAT:
Close to 400 local business owners and entrepreneurs will walk across the stage as the first graduating cohort of the BCPS Business Excellence Program. The six-part course, designed to empower and support local small businesses, equipped graduates with the tools and knowledge to tap into the estimated $2 billion of business opportunities within the South Florida tri-county market.

The EDDC’s mission is to foster economic growth and create opportunities that support the local business community through education, resources and strategic partnerships. By offering the Business Excellence Program, the EDDC is empowering businesses with in-depth knowledge of critical business areas that are essential to success, including strategic planning, financial management, marketing strategies, operational efficiency and leadership skills.
