Broward County Public Schools
Our “Care Closet” at Winston Park offers personal-care items for students who need them. Students often come to school without things they need and providing these items will help them feel better about themselves.
By creating a care closet with personal care and food items, students can be more focused during the school day.
When student's physiological needs are met, it allows them to focus on their school tasks, instead of what they are missing. We hope to build a strong sense of trust and a community connection with this movement. The hours are 7:30-7:55 on all school days.
Parents, we are accepting care closet donations if you are able. We are currently in need of single serving snacks and drinks. You can send Care Closet donations to the front office. Thank you in advance!
