Stallion Families,

On February 14th, our school will participate in “A Day of Service and Love.” Classroom teachers will lead students through varying activities focused around giving back, reconnecting with self, others, and our community.

We encourage everyone to use this non-academic day as a time to reflect, give back, and show your love and appreciation to others.  We will observe a moment of silence at 10:17am. As always, we will have counselors on hand and available to offer support to any students and/or teachers.

It is very important to monitor your child’s electronic devices, especially leading up to the commemoration. Encourage them to bring any comments that are worrisome, destructive, or troubling to the attention of an adult.

We are carefully planning for this day, and we recognize that many of you may choose to keep your child home with you. If you are planning to participate in a volunteer activity on February 14th, or are choosing to keep your child home, please be sure to call (754) 322-3002 to report the absence. Absent students will not be asked to make-up missed activities.
