Good morning! The National Junior Honor Society is now accepting applications through Friday, April 16th. Applications will not be considered past the due date.
Dear Applicant, Membership in an Honor Society is one of the highest honors that can be awarded to a Falcon Cove Middle School student. The National Junior Honor Society works hard to bring the accomplishments of outstanding students to the attention of parents, teachers, peers, and the community. Chapters in more than 5,000 middle and high schools across the nation strive to give practical meaning to the Society’s goals of scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character. These five ideals will be considered as a basis for your selection. No student is inducted simply because of a high academic average. The National Junior Honor Society strives to recognize the total student; one who excels in all of these areas. The standards for selection are as follows: 1. Scholarship: 3.75 Unweighted Middle School GPA (Minimum) 2. Leadership, Service, Citizenship, and Character – as demonstrated by activities and teacher evaluations. Membership, however, is more than an honor. It incurs a responsibility a
