Indian Ridge students were featured on NBC 6 News on Jan. 28th, along with other schools. As a part of Super Bowl LIV, the NFL hosted an NFL/United Way Character Playbook Challenge Huddle at St. Thomas University. During the Huddle, IRMS students were engaged in an educational panel featuring a Miami Dolphins player, cheerleader, and legend. Also featured on the panel was a representative from the United Way.
Immediately following, students and volunteers participated in a Huddle for a 100-bag packing activity. The bags were donated to local youth and elderly in need. The goal of the bag-packing activity was to provide necessary items to those in need while brightening their day.
IRMS students also participated in an Apple Store presentation at the Aventura Mall on photography. The Entrepreneurship students are well on their way to becoming business owners with the right character traits, technology, and financial literacy skills.
