Broward County Public Schools and District Offices Will Reopen on
Friday, November 17, 2023

Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) students, parents, guardians, caregivers and staff,

We thank you for your cooperation and understanding as the District canceled classes on Thursday to ensure the safety of students and staff following the inclement weather that came across our area.

Please be advised that all District operations will resume on Friday, November 17, 2023. All school campuses and administrative offices will be open. Before and after school care, events, meetings and other activities will also operate a normal schedule.

Family Fun Day at Delevoe Park scheduled for Sunday, November 19th has been postponed and will be rescheduled.

The School Board of Broward County and Superintendent Dr. Peter Licata thank our families, staff, municipal partners, and maintenance and facilities personnel who are ensuring all schools and offices are safe for students and staff to return.

If make-up days are needed due to this closure, the District will work to communicate information to families as soon as possible.
