District Survey on Second Semester Updated Information

You have either indicated your preference for your student to continue receiving instruction from home or you did not respond to the District’s survey indicating your preference for second semester, which begins Wednesday, January 13.

It is the District’s strong recommendation that your student return to campus for instruction for the second semester. Based on a review of your student’s academic progress during the first semester while learning from home, your student has been identified as not meeting Adequate Academic Progress. School personnel will be reaching out to you to advocate for your student’s return to in-school instruction, discuss the supports that the school has in place for second semester, and to address any concerns which you may have concerning this recommendation. In addition to our concern for your student’s academic progress, State of Florida Emergency Order 07, available at, provides the basis for this advocacy while ensuring that the final determination of learning location remains with you, the parent/guardian.

There will be a mandatory Parent Meeting on Monday, January 11 at 6pm to discuss details.  You are able to attend at the school in person or remotely and a link will be on the Guidance Counselor Canvas Pages and the LCMS website.
