Final Report of The Twentieth Statewide Grand Jury
During the Regular School Board Meeting on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) Superintendent Dr. Vickie L. Cartwright provided Broward County School Board Members and the community an initial update on the findings outlined in the recently released Twentieth Statewide Grand Jury Report as well as actions that have taken place to address subsequent correspondence from the Florida Department of Education.
“The actions I have taken since joining the District – and continue to take – reflect my commitment to ensuring we provide the safest learning environments for our students and staff along with maintaining our focus on providing high-quality educational opportunities for all students,” said Superintendent Dr. Cartwright. “I commend the tireless work and dedication of our employees in helping our District address these important concerns.”
