Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and this year we want to recognize the theme of Resiliency! Mental Health refers to a person’s psychological and emotional well-being. Like our physical health, this can be healthy and fit, or it can be in need of some supportive treatment to restore a good health status. The point being, anyone and everyone, could use some supportive treatment at one time or another, depending on what they are experiencing…and that is O.K.! We want to spread the word and #StoptheStigma! Seeking support means you are seeking to be healthy! And as a district, we know that with the right support we can achieve our resiliency and #BounceBackBroward. Please visit the Mental Health Month Calendar, each day this May, and be mindful of how we can practice positive mental health tasks and the importance of awareness. #Resiliency
