Nearly 800 BCPS Students to Participate in the Youth Climate Summit. The focus: Sea level rise and what it means for South Florida.

Broward County Public Schools Applied Learning Department, in coordination with Broward County and the Museum of Discovery and Science, are hosting the second annual Youth Climate Summit this Friday, January 10, 2020. The event begins at 9 a.m. at the Museum of Discovery and Science and will include nearly 800 BCPS students, School Board members, Superintendent Robert W. Runcie and local and state representatives. During the event, students will engage in activities and discussion regarding the impact of sea level rise on the future of South Florida.
