BCPS Magnet Programs Earn Prestigious Awards from Magnet Schools of America

Broward County Public Schools is proud to be honored by Magnet Schools of America (MSA) with an impressive 29 Merit Awards. This includes three Top Magnet Schools of Excellence awards, 12 Magnet Schools of Excellence awards, and 14 Magnet Schools of Distinction awards — a testament to the District’s dedication to providing students with unique, world-class educational opportunities.

Each year, MSA recognizes outstanding magnet schools and programs across the country for their commitment to academic excellence, innovative curriculum, and strong parent and community engagement. Earning these prestigious awards highlights the District’s focus on offering dynamic and enriching learning environments.

"We are incredibly proud of our magnet schools and programs for these outstanding achievements," said BCPS Superintendent Howard Hepburn. "These awards reflect the hard work and dedication of our students, teachers and administrators, and reinforce our ongoing commitment to offering high-quality educational opportunities for our students."
