Eight Grade Field Trip
8TH GRADE TRIP
ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE
MONDAY, MARCH 16, 2020
The 8th grade trip is on Monday, March 16th to Islands of Adventure, Orlando.
The cost of the trip is $146 which includes park ticket, transportation and T-shirt to be worn day of the trip.
There is no price adjustment if you happen to have a season pass to Islands of Adventure.
Students with Disciplinary and/or Academic issues run the risk of not being able to attend the trip. Administration will have the final say for students attending.
Please note that your 8th grader will NOT be with an adult at all times throughout the day. Students can be with their friends in the park, and there will be required check in times around lunch and at end of day.
Initially there will be 100 spots available. Once 100 students have paid, we will open another 50 spots (100+ spots could become available depending on demand)
***Please note: additional buses will be added based on demand, 50 spots at a time.
IF WE DO NOT GET 50 PAID STUDENTS TO FILL EACH ADDITIONAL BUS, PAYMENTS (FOR THAT BUS) WILL BE REFUNDED AND STUDENTS WILL BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST, BASED ON THE TIME THEY PAID.
PAYMENTS: NO CASH OR CHECKS ACCEPTED (ONLINE PAYMENTS ONLY)
All obligations must be paid online for trip payments to be accepted.
Online payments can be made November 21-December 11.
Select Middle School/Tequesta Trace/8th grade trip. Students ID number is needed for transaction.
Students unable to attend the field trip due to circumstances beyond the school realm will receive a monetary refund if final deposits and payments have not been made. Otherwise students will receive their park ticket and t-shirt.
If student does not attend field trip the day of trip (sick, overslept etc.), there will be NO COMPENSATION OR MONETARY REFUND.
ONCE PAYMENT IS MADE COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING
Print the field trip form from www.browardschools.com/tequestatrace
Permission form must be PRINTED, completed, signed and returned to Ms. Smith or Ms. Laichak prior to Winter Break (December 19th).
Failure to turn in permission form might jeopardize your child’s participation on the trip.
Bus assignments will be made as students turn in their permission slip to Ms. Smith or Ms. Laichak.
