Dear Eighth Grade Parents:
Our end-of-the-year eighth grade dinner/dance, "Midnight in Paris" will be held on Friday, May 20th, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in our Tequesta Trace Cafetorium. This dinner/dance will be a night for our eighth grade students to remember. They will enjoy a buffet dinner and be entertained and dance to music provided by DJ NikkiG. The cost of this event is $30. Tickets will be on sale from April 29th-May 18th. Click here to purchase tickets. The first 250 students who pay for the dance will receive a t-shirt.
As this is a special occasion, we request that students wear “dress attire.” (Boys- dress shirt and dress pants; Girls- dress or a pantsuit). We ask that jeans, shorts, T-shirts or sneakers not be worn. We certainly would not ask or expect our students to purchase prom dresses or rent tuxedos. While some children might want to “go all out,” the school administration and teachers do not endorse this. Our middle school students will soon be attending high school and that will be the appropriate time to wear formal attire to their formal dances.
Once students arrive at the dance, they will remain inside until 9:00 p.m. The only exception is if a parent personally picks up their child from the dance. WE ASK THAT ALL PARENTS MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR PROMPT PICK-UP AT 9:00 P.M.
We look forward to a fun-filled evening!
