BCPS, in partnership with the Flying Classroom, presents the 2025 Spring
BCPS, in partnership with the Flying Classroom, presents the 2025 Spring
STEMFest (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), a pre-K – 12 STEM+
curriculum that engages students through immersive and real-world learning
experiences. Families will explore exciting STEM challenges and interactive
demonstrations.

The Flying Classroom uses hands-on design challenges and live expeditions to connect STEM with real-world careers, helping students build strong foundations in problem-solving, innovation and teamwork. The event includes special presentations by Flying Classroom and its founder, Captain Barrington Irving, a pioneering aviator and educator who became the first Black and youngest pilot to fly solo around the world.
