BCPS Hurricane Helene Advisory & Redefining Our Schools Schedule Update
Schools and District Offices Will Be Closed on Thursday, September 26, 2024
Following the latest advisory regarding Hurricane Helene, Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, September 26, 2024. This includes before and after school care, after-school activities, field trips, and evening events and classes.
Additionally, the Redefining Our Schools Community Meeting schedule for Thursday at Miramar High School will be rescheduled to a later date.
BCPS is working closely with Emergency Management officials to monitor the track of the storm and its potential impact on Broward County.
An update regarding Friday’s operations will be provided Thursday afternoon.
