Open House Tuesday August 31st
VIRTUAL OPTION OPEN HOUSE - Tuesday, August 31, 2021
Class information will be available via a Canvas course online for those who prefer not to attend in person. At 5:30 PM, LIVE help chat will be available to Cooper City High families on our CCHS website. CCHS Staff will be assisting with questions. We will greet you at 6:30 PM with our Open House welcome message on our school website. Following the video, you will transition and log on to Clever through sso.browardschools.com with your child’s credentials. Please ensure that you have access to and are logged in to your child's Canvas and Teams via sso.browardschools.com You will have an opportunity to meet your child’s teachers and learn valuable information to have a great school year.
Please follow your child’s schedule (as seen on Virtual Counselor) starting with the first period by logging into their Canvas page. When you are done meeting with your child’s first period teacher, proceed to period two by finding your second period teacher’s name and course in Canvas. Continue this process until you’ve met with all of your child’s teachers. Note: Study Hall is a class that students can work on their schoolwork/homework - no curriculum is covered in Study Hall.

IN PERSON OPEN HOUSE – Tuesday, August 31, 2021
You are cordially invited to attend and participate in our in-person Open House event scheduled for Tuesday, August 31, 2021.
Attending this event affords you the opportunity to meet your child’s teachers and become acquainted with our school facility. Open House activities will begin in the cafeteria at 5:30 p.m. for parents and students to interact with various clubs, co-curricular activities, and athletic programs unique to Cooper City High School. These displays will remain accessible throughout the evening.
5:30 p.m. - PTSA meet and greet in the Cafeteria
5:45 p.m. - Visit “Activities” Displays in the Cafeteria
6:10 p.m. - Band Performance in the Courtyard
6:20 p.m. - Warning Bell to Period 1
6:30 p.m. - Parents follow the Student’s Schedule
At 6:20 p.m., a bell will ring indicating you are to report to your child’s first period class. Parents will have six minutes of passing time between classes. The ten minute class visits provide a brief synopsis of teacher expectations. If you need additional information, please email the teachers/guidance counselor using the school directory linked here.
AS A REMINDER: Guidelines set forth in Policy 2170-E, Face Coverings, must be adhered to while on our campus.
