The Free Application for Federal Student Aid also known as FAFSA is the form you and your child need to fill out to get any financial aid from the federal government to help pay for college. Before completing the FAFSA, every student and one custodial parent must create an FSA ID which is STEP 1 in the application process.
On Wednesday, October 21, the PTSA and BRACE Advisor will host an FSA ID Night with step by step instructions on how to create an FSA ID. There will be an English and a Spanish presentation.
On Tuesday, October 27, the Office of School Counseling & BRACE Advisement along with Broward Bridge to Life will host a Virtual FAFSA Night with step by step instruction on completing the application. Community partners, BRACE Advisors and FAFSA experts will be available during the live event to assist with Q&A, and will be assisting students in the individual high school virtual FAFSA labs. There will also be support for Spanish and Haitian-Creole speaking families.
