Reminders For Students Returning For In Person Instruction
A few reminders for students who will be returning to campus at the start of the third quarter.
- While on campus, everyone will be physically distanced and required to wear a face covering at all times (except when eating during designated mealtimes).
- When passing through the halls, students will be expected to walk on the right side to maintain physical distancing.
- Hall passes will not be issued, students will be escorted to their destinations when leaving class during instructional times.
- Posters, signs and floor stickers have been placed throughout the school as a constant reminder to practice physical distancing, proper hygiene, and to wear face coverings.
- Wear your last year’s school ID. If you are new to Everglades or you no longer have your ID from last year, one will be provided to you.
- Bring a water bottle, which can be filled at any of the water stations around campus.
- Bring your electronic device for use during instructional times.
CAFETERIA
- All students will be required to report to the cafeteria or mini gym prior to the start of the first class of the day.
- While in the cafeteria or mini gym, physical distancing will be strictly enforced, and students will be seated at individual student desks instead of the typical cafeteria tables.
- Students will be released from the cafeteria or mini gym in an orderly manner to minimize congestion when exiting.
- All students will be required to sit in the cafeteria and mini gym during breakfast and lunch times
- At the end of each school day, students will exit the campus promptly.
- Any and all updates will be communicated as soon as possible.
