Dear Titan Family,

In our continuous efforts to ensure the safety and security of all students, staff, and visitors at Nova High School, we require all students to wear identification (ID) badges at all times while on campus. ID badges have been issued to all students free of charge. A replacement ID badge will be needed if a student loses their ID badge. The fee to reprint and reissue an ID badge is $5, after the fourth badge. If a student cannot pay the replacement fee for the ID badge, the fee will be recorded as an obligation until the amount is paid.

Students not wearing an ID badge are subject to disciplinary action, as the School Board of Broward County mandates this requirement. 

We will require all visitors to check in with the Star System at the Welcome Center. All visitors must wear the temporary ID badge provided throughout their visit. Safety is our first priority, and we must rely on everyone’s cooperation to continue providing the best educational experience for our students.

STUDENT IDENTIFICATION BADGE POLICY

STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO WEAR THEIR ID BADGES AT ALL TIMES

1. Students’ ID badges must be visible and not in book bags, pockets, or under clothing.
2. Student ID badges must be replaced immediately when lost, damaged beyond recognition, or unavailable during the school day. Students should report to their grade-level secretary.
3. Students not wearing an ID badge are subject to disciplinary action, as the School Board of Broward County mandates this requirement.
