Dear Broward County Public Schools parents and guardians, students and staff,

Our District continues to plan for the reopening of schools on August 19, with a 100% distance learning (eLearning) model.

During the Wednesday, June 22, Broward County School Board special workshop, Superintendent Runcie announced that three of our high schools will be used as temporary free drive-thru COVID-19 testing sites. He described the topics for workshop discussion: eLearning Expectations, Exceptions to eLearning, Gating Criteria, Health and Wellness Checkups and plans for a Homework Hotline. In addition, he asked the community to practice physical distancing and wear masks to help reduce the number of COVID-19 cases in Broward County, which will be necessary in order for the District to return to face-to-face learning.
