BCPS to Share Initial Findings of Distance Learning and Wellness Survey

Media Availability to provide the initial findings of the District’s recently completed Distance Learning and Wellness Survey.

WHY:
The survey provides opinions from students, parents/guardians and school-based staff about their experiences with the transition to online learning due to the coronavirus pandemic. More than 65,000 people shared their feelings about the successes and shortfalls of distance learning and pinpointed areas where additional wellness support may be needed. The results of the survey will be used by the District to make informed decisions on educational and wellness services, as well as the allocation of resources.
Media must sign in at the front desk at the first-floor entrance and are required to adhere to social distancing guidelines by wearing face masks and maintaining six-foot distance from other attendees at all times.
