Tamarac Elementary School Celebrates 50 Years of Excellence
Tamarac Elementary School is proud to announce its 50th anniversary celebration, taking place on November 15 and 16, 2024. This milestone marks a half-century of dedication to providing students with a quality education and fostering a strong sense of community.
The festivities will kick off with a special 50th anniversary program on Friday, November 15 at 9:30 a.m. This event will feature:

Performances by the talented Tamarac Elementary School Singing Tigers.

Performances by the J.P. Taravella High School Band and JROTC.

Inspiring presentations by Broward County School Board members, District administrators and city of Tamarac elected officials.

A special proclamation from the Office of U.S. Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick honoring Tamarac Elementary’s 50-year legacy.
The celebration continues Saturday, November 16, from 3 – 6 p.m., with a festive event open to former students, teachers, staff, families and community members. Guests are invited to join the Tamarac Elementary family for an unforgettable afternoon of nostalgia and celebration. The festivities will take place on the school’s campus, located at 7601 N. University Dr., Tamarac, FL 33321.
"We are incredibly proud of our school's rich history of academic excellence, community involvement and dedication to student success,” said Tamarac Elementary Principal Richard Garrick. “This milestone is an opportunity to celebrate our past achievements and look forward to the exciting future that lies ahead."
