Get Ready for 2024 TechGateway Day on Thursday, February 15

A map of a cityDescription automatically generatedBroward County Public Schools (BCPS) middle and high school students in Career, Technical Adult and Community Education (CTACE) classes will get a sneak peek at the many high-tech, high-demand and high-paying careers available in South Florida, thanks to TechGateway Day. The annual event takes place on Thursday, February 15, 2024, and is a partnership between BCPS and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance. It is designed to inspire students to pursue technology careers in our area by introducing them to local industry leaders and showcasing how these businesses are shaping the future.

Among the companies participating in this year’s TechGateway Day are Stryker, Microsoft, UKG, LAN Infotech and Magic Leap.

Media interested in covering TechGateway Day are invited to visit Falcon Cove Middle School, located at 4251 Bonaventure Blvd., Weston, FL 33332, from

10 – 11 a.m., on February 15. UKG leaders are planning a fun event for students.

In addition, to visually showcase the wide range of technology companies located in South Florida, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance is providing TechGateway Day maps for all the District’s middle and high school CTACE classes.
