Important Policies and Rules

Please read all the school policies and rules listed below and adhere to them.

All students are required to always wear a school ID badge. The badge must be worn on outer clothing.

• Backpacks, bookbags, and large purses are not permitted.

• Students are expected to follow the Code of Student Conduct. This includes the District’s dress code and

behavior plan.

• Students are expected to come to school on time by 9:40 am.

• Students are expected to arrive at all classes on time and attend all classes.

• Students should keep electronic devices off and out of sight in all classes.

• All staff, students, and visitors must refrain from smoking on campus and on the school bus.

• Students must sign out with permission when leaving campus during the day.

• Safety and Security Initiatives – All students, families, and staff must adhere to these policies. We practice

our safety drills (Fire and Lockdown) every month.

• All visitors must report to the single point entry at the front of the school and produce a valid form of

identification to be cleared before entering the campus.

• All threats are taken seriously (face-to-face, cyber, etc.). Threat assessments are conducted for all threats

received.

• SAHS is a bully-free school zone.
