In alignment with Broward County Public Schools’ 2023-2024 annual mandatory compliance course memo from the Professional Development Standards and Support Department, teachers, staff, and students are required to participate in annual educational trainings. These mandatory trainings include Policy 5900: Anti-Bullying (Grades K-12) and Policy 5010: Policy Against Student Dating Violence or Abuse (Grades 6- 12). Parents are an integral part of a school’s environment and their child’s success; therefore, training modules were also developed for schools to educate parents on the application of these policies.
