Broward Schools Revised Calendar

Please note the School Board held an emergency meeting  to further discuss our District’s School Reopening Plan that was submitted and approved by the Florida Department of Education. At the conclusion of the meeting, the School Board provided Superintendent Runcie and staff the following direction: 

• October 8, 2020:             
  • Employee Planning Day – All Schools 
• October 9, 2020:             
  • Grades PK, K, 1, 2, Self-contained ESE Classes at all grade levels and the 5 ESE Special Day Schools 

• October 12, 2020:           
  • Early Release Day – All Schools 
• October 13, 2020:           
  • Grades 3-6 & 9 
• October 14, 2020:           
  • Early Release Day – All Schools 
• October 15, 2020:           
  • Grades 7-12 
• October 16, 2020:           
  • Early Release Day (Already of District Calendar) 
• October 19, 2020:           
  • Employee Planning Day (Already of District Calendar)
